SGA National Squad player Sean Lee secured the top prize in the Boys A Division after he signed off his last round with 72 (+1) two shots ahead of fellow teammate and National Squad player Daryl Low.
The annual HSBC Youth Golf Challenge returns this year at Warren Golf & Country Club from 15 March to 17 March 2022. Not only did this tournament see the grit of the players which propelled them to excel, but also the camaraderie they had on the fairway and beyond.
Withstanding the ever-changing weather conditions, Sean Lee came back with a solid 208 and finished his final round with a 72 (+1) two shots ahead of fellow teammate and National Squad player Daryl Low.
Samantha Marie Dizon’s consistency brought glorious victory to her play, as she capped the three-day tournament with a 218, and a 74 (+2) for her final round. She emerged as champion for the Girls A Division, ahead of her fellow teammates, Shayne Lim and Gwen Tan.
For the Boys B Division, SGA Junior Squad member Sean Pang clinched the champion title after recording a 73 (+2) to end his week. Meanwhile, in the Girls B Division, Junior Squad Player Chen Xingtong ended the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge with a spectacular six-under 66 which also marks her first back-to-back win at the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge.
